In short: What is a white label trading competition platform?

A white label trading competition platform is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution that provides brokers, prop firms and IBs with the technology to run branded trading competitions. Swiset handles competition creation, real-time leaderboard tracking, automated scoring, prize distribution, trader dashboards and competition analytics — all under your brand identity and integrated with your trading platform (MT4, MT5, cTrader).

    How it works

How does the trading competition software work?

Swiset supports three types of trading competitions, each designed for different use cases. Competitions can be created by brokers, prop firms, IBs or community leaders through a self-service admin panel or via the Swiset team.

    Three types of trading competitions

    Demo Competitions

Traders compete using demo (virtual) accounts. No real money at risk. Ideal for lead generation, onboarding new traders, and community engagement campaigns.

Zero financial risk for participants — low barrier to entry
Traders register, receive demo credentials, and start competing immediately
Perfect for attracting new signups and converting demo traders to live accounts
Used by brokers for marketing campaigns, expos, and community outreach

    Real (Live) Competitions

Traders compete using live funded accounts with real trading capital. Designed to increase trading volume, deposits and active trader engagement.

Real money at stake — higher engagement and competitive intensity
Drives deposits as traders fund accounts to participate
Increases trading frequency and volume during competition periods
Ideal for trader retention campaigns and VIP programs

    Combined Competitions

Hybrid format that combines demo and real account participants in the same competition. Participants are ranked together or in separate leaderboards depending on configuration.

Maximum flexibility for multi-tier audience engagement
Demo participants can qualify for live rounds (funnel strategy)
Allows brokers to run inclusive competitions across account types
Useful for events, expos and large-scale community competitions

    Who can create trading competitions?

    Forex Brokers

Run branded competitions to acquire, engage and retain traders. Integrate with your existing CRM and trading platform.

    Introducing Brokers (IBs)

Create sub-competitions within your IB network. Engage your community, grow referrals, and manage participant activity.

    Prop Firms

Use competitions as a marketing and evaluation tool. Identify skilled traders through competition performance and competition data.

    Community Leaders

Launch free or sponsored trading competitions for your audience. Build engagement and monetize through broker partnerships.

    How a competition is configured

    Define competition parameters

Set competition name, type (demo/real/combined), duration, start and end dates, maximum participants, and entry requirements.

    Configure rules and scoring

Choose scoring metrics (PnL%, equity growth, Sharpe ratio), set trading rules (minimum trades, max drawdown, forbidden instruments), and enable fraud detection.

    Set up prizes and leaderboard

Define prize pool, distribution tiers, leaderboard display format, and real-time ranking visibility for participants.

    Customize branding and experience

Apply your logo, colors, domain, and custom themes. Configure trader dashboards, registration pages, and email templates.

    Launch and monitor

Publish the competition, track participant activity in real-time, monitor leaderboard performance, and analyze results through competition analytics.

    Fully branded competition experience

    Fully branded competition experience

Every touchpoint is white-labeled: competition landing pages, registration flows, trader dashboards, leaderboards, and email notifications. Your domain, your logo, your color scheme — traders only see your brand.

    Multi-language competition support

Run trading competitions in multiple languages simultaneously. The entire competition experience — dashboards, leaderboards, notifications — adapts to the trader's language preference.

    IB and affiliate distribution

Enable IBs and affiliates to create sub-competitions within their networks. Track referral performance, participant source, and IB-level competition analytics.

    Platform integrations and payments

Native integration with MT4, MT5, and cTrader for real-time trade data. Connect with payment gateways for entry fees and prize distribution.

    Rules & scoring engine

How competition rules and scoring work

Every competition on Swiset is governed by a configurable rules engine. You define the parameters — the platform enforces them automatically in real time.

    Configurable competition rules

When creating a competition, you can define granular trading rules that all participants must follow. The system validates every trade in real time and flags violations automatically.

    Maximum Drawdown

Set a maximum drawdown percentage (e.g., 10%). If a trader exceeds this threshold, they are automatically disqualified or flagged. Drawdown can be calculated on equity, balance, or initial capital.

    Minimum Number of Trades

Require participants to execute a minimum number of trades (e.g., 10 trades minimum) to qualify for ranking. Prevents passive strategies or single-trade gambling approaches.

    Lot Size Restrictions

Set minimum and maximum lot sizes per trade. Useful for preventing over-leveraged positions or ensuring traders follow risk management guidelines.

    Allowed Instruments

Restrict which trading instruments are allowed in the competition: specific forex pairs, indices, commodities, or crypto. Or allow all instruments available on the trading platform.

    Trading Hours Window

Define specific trading hours during which trades are valid (e.g., only during London session, or only during market hours). Trades outside the window are excluded from scoring.

    Holding Time Rules

Set minimum or maximum trade holding times. Prevent scalping (e.g., minimum 5 minutes per trade) or require intraday-only strategies (no overnight positions).

    News Trading Restrictions

Optionally restrict trading during high-impact news events. Define blackout windows around major economic releases to ensure fair competition conditions.

    Expert Advisor (EA) Policy

Allow or prohibit the use of Expert Advisors and automated trading systems. If allowed, you can set restrictions on specific EA types or require manual trading only.

    Scoring methods available

Swiset supports multiple scoring methods. You choose how traders are ranked on the leaderboard based on your competition objectives.

    PnL Percentage (%)

Rank traders by their profit and loss as a percentage of starting capital. The most common scoring method — measures pure trading performance regardless of account size. A trader who turns $10,000 into $11,500 scores +15%.

Most popular for general trading competitions, works for both demo and live competitions.

    Absolute PnL ($)

Rank traders by the total dollar amount of profit generated. Larger accounts have an advantage, but this method directly reflects revenue impact for the broker. Useful when competitions are tied to deposit tiers.

Ideal for live competitions where deposit size matters, VIP programs, and volume-driven campaigns.

    Equity Growth

Measure the growth of the trader's equity curve over the competition period. Unlike PnL%, equity growth accounts for open positions, giving a more real-time picture of performance. Calculated as (Final Equity - Starting Equity) / Starting Equity.

Best for competitions where you want to reward consistent growth rather than single large trades.

    Trading Volume (Lots)

Rank traders by the total volume traded in standard lots during the competition. This method prioritizes activity over profitability — traders who trade more rank higher regardless of whether their trades are profitable.

Designed for broker volume campaigns where the objective is to increase trading activity and generate commissions.

    Risk-Adjusted Return (Sharpe Ratio)

Rank traders by their risk-adjusted returns using Sharpe Ratio or similar risk metrics. Rewards traders who generate consistent returns with controlled risk, not just high returns with high volatility.

Best for prop firm evaluation rounds, professional trading competitions, and sophisticated trader audiences.

    Custom / Composite Score

Create a composite scoring formula that combines multiple factors: e.g., 50% PnL% + 30% Risk Score + 20% Consistency. Fully customizable weightings to match your specific competition objectives and audience.

Advanced competitions, multi-criteria evaluation, prop firm challenges with complex requirements.

Real-time rule validation & fraud detection

The rules engine doesn't just define rules — it enforces them. Every trade is validated against the competition ruleset in real time.

Automatic disqualification when drawdown limits are breached
Real-time trade monitoring for lot size, instrument, and timing violations
Suspicious activity detection: copy trading patterns, hedging abuse, latency arbitrage
Admin alerts for flagged accounts with detailed violation reports
Appeal system for traders to dispute automated disqualifications
Configurable enforcement: warn, penalize points, or disqualify
